Ghost net recycling project starts its second season

After recovering 2.4 tonnes of nets from three bays, the team will work in two new coastal districts this year.

The ghost net project supported by a telecom operator has shared its first-season results on the platform. Recovered nets were turned into beach volleyball nets and donated to schools.

In the second season the cooperation with dive clubs is being widened; location reports from fishing cooperatives are being added to the map.
