What is committed
The centre commits to training volunteer groups on a single survey protocol, to quality-checking every submission and to publishing the cleaned litter counts as open data within a month of each survey round.
The commitment
24 beaches surveyed four times a year by trained volunteers, with the data published openly, from 2027 to 2030.
